Catherine has been working both in and around the voluntary sector for more than 25 years.

She has experienced many ways of working being part of finance teams working in small community organisations, large national and international charities and providing services to organisations through professional practice.

Catherine is a qualified Accounting Technician (FMAAT), member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and most proudly holds a Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) said to demonstrate a high level of competence in charity accounting and financial management. Catherine trained as an accountant and auditor with a specialist firm of accountants and auditors based in the North-West of England committed to providing services to the not-for-profit sector and accounting for positive social change. Catherine started working with Trust Accounting Ltd in 2018, part of The Trust Partnership Ltd, as a business committed to continuing this practice.
